After the World Cup break Hull City decided to switch from the tradition of attacking the South Stand in the second half in the hope that the noise from a raucous North Stand would be the encouragement they needed.

The stats would seem to point to a failure, and sure enough when we reverted to attacking the South Stand against QPR we won 3-0 and scored the first goals at the South Stand end since the break.
